3/6/08 Adapt
A private view of new neon works by Richard William Wheater will take place at Durkar Chapel Studio, 7:30pm onwards. Janet Flynn will be opening up her unique living space for one evening only, to show a selection of site specific neon installations by the Yorkshire born artist.

Leeds signed improv group 7Hertz (www.myspace.com/the7hertzband) will be responding to the work through music over the course of the evening.

6/08 Them And Us
Wheater recently received financial backing from Arts Council England to help with stage 1 of this project. Actions will take place in various locations involving blowing glass birds from a mobile furnace and setting them free, from june until the end of the year.

Wheater has been chosen to show new work here at this prestigious event

13/9 - 19/10/08 European Glass Context 2008
Chosen as 1 of two emerging artists to represent Britain in this 30 country exhibition held in Denmark, Wheater will be showing Adapt! sculpture as well as performing Burning Fat to a theatre full of people in Bornholm.
