Eden Project, Cornwall, England

 

 

Burning Fat.
A temporary installation within the compounds of Eden Project. Five salvaged bicycles were converted into light emitting exorcise machines. The bikes are fitted with dynamos and voltage transformers. A social comment on the possible relationships between the obsession with our health and that of the environments.

Creatures Inherit The Party.
Imagery of death and rebirth take the form of rising spirits, A rising parade. Feral creatures, victims of urban sprawl, reclaim their natural habitat preserved in farmland pockets.

Hot glass was transferred from its industrial setting, exposed and stretched outdoors, then lowered in settled snow to form a curtain of steam.
